Windows 8 will Supported with Dolby Digital Plus

Dolby announced that Microsoft will support Dolby Digital Plus stereo technology for all Windows 8.Codec (also known as Enhanced AC-3) allows 5.1-channel surround on the desktop and the Metro-style, both on x86 and ARM architectures.
