Lenovo has finally released the official new tablet, IdeaTab S2109, with a thickness of 8.9 mm and using Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. As previously reported, this tablet comes with a 9.7-inch IPS screen, the ratio of 4:3 and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
On the front there is also a 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls, plus microUSB, microSD slot and micro HDMI. While the rear mounted speakers with SRS Trumedia four claimed would result in a better bass.
The tablet is powered by a battery that can last up to 10 hours. But there has been no confirmation of processors used. Earlier there was rumor that IdeaTab S2109 will use TI OMAP processors. Lenovo will provide information regarding pricing and availability of this tablet in the near future.
