After the previous Samsung confirmed to be present at least two sets of Windows Phone 8 Apollo in October, today a confirmation comes from one of America's largest CDMA operator, Verizon Wireless.
Verizon Wireless Chief Financial Officer, Fran Shammo, said their companies are looking to sell a third mobile platform to help develop a strong competitor to Apple and Google. '' We really see Windows Phone 8.0 platform as a differentiator. We are working with Microsoft to make it happen'' Shammo said in an interview with Reuters. Shammo expect Windows Phone 8 Apollo will present at the end of the upcoming holiday season.
With confirmation of the presence of Verizon Wireless, it seems Windows Phone 8 is ready to be marketed to the public sometime in October-December 2012.
