Broke down in the middle of the company, RIM still trying to present its new product. This time it was announced BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India known as an affordable smartphone but it uses the latest BlackBerry OS 7.1.
Curve 9220 using the typical Blackberry QWERTY keyboard and a 2.44-inch QVGA resolution. It also installed a 2 MP camera, Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth, FM radio, microSD card slot and up to 512MB RAM. Unfortunately, this handset does not support 3G and it only works in GSM / EDGE networks.
Curve 9220 will be available in India starting tomorrow at a price of 11 000 rupees, or about 215 U.S. dollars. Curve 9220 buyers will have the opportunity to download the application for free worth Rs 2500 to 30 June. After India, RIM will launch globally this handset in the coming weeks.
