Apple Accused of Making Misleading Ads about IPAD 4G New Capabilities in Australia

The new iPad product brings several advantages, among them the Retina Display screen and support for 4G LTE in the U.S. through Verizon and AT & T and in Canada. In Australia, Apple also advertises the new iPad with 4G capabilities described by Apple as a support for HSPA + networks rather than LTE.
Top of the ad, an organization called the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) considers the ad as misleading. ACCC alleges that Apple promotions recently about the new iPad with 4G + wifi capability in Australia misleading because it does not happen. Apple was actually written testimony in support of 4G iPad Australia is HSPA + version. Mentioned that the new iPad will use HSPA + in Australia but could use LTE if the United States or Canada. This information is considered to be less clear and create confusion to distinguish 4G 4G LTE and HSPA.
Before this debate about 4G was warmed by the ITU (International Telecommunications Union) refused to grant status to the HSPA + 4G. But then succumb to the ITU and the cellular operator to enter HSPA + 4G. The Australian Government does not seem to agree with that view and therefore it intends to ban a product because of the misleading advertising.
