It's that time of the month again - Android's platform distribution detailed. There's nothing shocking in the numbers - Gingerbread has gained 2% popularity while ICS is moving tremendously slowly and has seen an increase of only 0.6%.
Version | Market Share, January | Market Share, February | Change |
1.5 Cupcake | 0.6% | 0.4% | ▼0.2 |
1.6 Donut | 1.0% | 0.8% | ▼0.2 |
2.1 Eclair | 7.6% | 6.6% | ▼1.0 |
2.2 Froyo | 27.8% | 25.3% | ▼2.5 |
2.3 Gingerbread | 0.5% | 0.5% | 0.0 |
2.3.3 Gingerbread | 58.1% | 61.5% | ▲2.4 |
3.0 Honeycomb | 0.1% | 0.1% | 0.0 |
3.1 Honeycomb | 1.4% | 1.1% | ▼0.3 |
3.2 Honeycomb | 1.9% | 2.1% | ▲0.2 |
4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich | 0.3% | 0.4% | ▲0.1 |
4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich | 0.7% | 1.2% | ▲0.5 |
Honeycomb is actually seeing a small overall decline. We expect the numbers to change once all these new ICS-running droids hit the market.
