Google's latest platform showed an increase in the use of Android 4.0. The operating system was up 2.9% from the current Android users. The increase was recorded almost 2x as much of the previous month which is only 1.6%.
It is likely triggered by the release of updates issued for the Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation family. While Gingerbread (Android 2.3) is still ranked the highest with 63.7% of the users.

When compared with Apple's update to IOS, the increased use of Android 4.0 is clearly lagging behind. The majority of Apple users now use the IOS 5.1 even if only in a few weeks since its launch.
